Boston Pride might be a few weeks away but the Pride season is kicking off with a celebration of the youth of the LGBT community of the Massachusetts! This Saturday, May 19th, beginning at 11am.

The parade kicks off at noon  and will last til 1pm, but the party doesn’t stop there. There will be events throughout the day and it will be culminate with one of the most important part of any young person’s life, the prom. The LGBT Youth Prom has been hosted since 1981 by the Boston Alliance of  Gay, Lesbian, and Transgender Youth (BAGLY).

Youth Pride is one of the highlights of Massachusetts social calandar. There is a lot going on with the LGBT youth community in the Commonwealth and it deserves a great day of celebration.  When we say, “It’s all here for everyone,” we mean it!

Boston Pride is getting a triple threat of music powerhouses for its annual Pride Festival. This year they have announced musicians: Alexis Jordan, Rye Rye, and Kerli will be performing.

Each of these talented artists bring a different style of music that will make sure that there is something for everyone at the festival.

“We are thrilled to have Alexis Jordan, Rye Rye, and Kerli headline our festival this year,” remarked Linda DeMarco, president of Boston Pride, “These young women are all breaking through on the music scene as we speak, and we know that they will put on a great show here in Boston.

Boston’s Pride Festival will take place at Boston’s City Hall Plaza on Saturday June, 9th, starting at Noon and ending at 6pm.

This year NoHo Pride celebrates its 31st year putting on their annual pride parade and pride event. Such a celebration comes with a fantastic theme, “Being the change.”

The event will take place on Saturday May 12th, beginning at noon. There will be performances from musicians such as Pamela Means and drag queens like Georgia Star Michaels. There will even be some inspirational speakers like Rev. Tinker Donnelly. If you want to take your spot on stage, you will get your chance the night before (Friday May 11th) at NoHo Pride’s Open Mic Night. Performers please be  at the Tri County Fairgrounds no later than 7pm.

The main attraction is the Parade, which will step off on Hampton Ave., Northampton, MA 01060, starting at 12pm sharp! The parade will end at the Tri County Fairgrounds where the Pride event will be taking place.

If you have never been to Northampton, and even if you have, this will be a great way to experience the LGBT life of Northampton, MA.
