Monthly Tea Dances at the Verve Lounge in the South End begin with a Holiday Tea December 13
The all new Verve Lounge at Rudi’s Resto Café and Bar in the South End is the venue for the monthly Back2Basics Tea Dances. This event, for the GLBT community and their friends is Sunday, December 13 from 4-8 PM and will continue on the 2nd Sunday of the month at the Verve Lounge. This event, with a holiday flair, will feature a drawing for free holiday give-a-ways as well as a special appearance from The Hat Sisters. DJ Harrison, who has pleased crowds with the Back2Basics Tea Dances in Roslindale will play his signature classic disco hits from the 70s and 80s with some top 40 dance remixes thrown in. Admission is $5. The Verve Lounge is located at the rear of 811 Massachusetts Avenue. Parking is $5 in the public garage off Melnea Cass Blvd (behind Dunkin Donuts) for $5 with ticket validation at the event. Accessible by T: take Orange Line to Massachusetts Avenue.
