Back2Basics St Paddy’s Tea Dance at the Verve Lounge in the South End Mar. 14
The Verve Lounge at Rudi’s Resto Café and Bar in the South End hosts monthly Back2Basics Tea Dances for the GLBT community and their friends. The next dance, featuring green martinis and honoring St Patrick, is Sunday, March 14 from 4-8 PM. DJ Harrison plays his signature classic disco hits from the 70s and 80s along top 40 dance remixes thrown in. Admission is $5. The Verve Lounge is located at the rear of 811 Massachusetts Avenue (at Melnea Cass Blvd). Parking is $5 in the public garage off Melnea Cass Blvd (behind Dunkin Donuts) with ticket validation at the event. Accessible by T: take Orange Line to Massachusetts Avenue, then take bus #1 for one mile (or walk to Rudis).
