It’s that time of year again! You know that time of year where men in drag help raise money for women in need? Yep that one.
Patio, one of Provincetown’s most celebrated watering holes, is hosting Drag Brunch for the 7th time on Friday August 19th 2011, with proceeds from the event benefiting HOW (Helping Our Women), a 501(c)3 community based non-profit organization located in Provincetown, whose mission is to educate, empower and support women as they cope with chronic disease and life threatening illnesses.
From August 14 – 19, Provincetown will host Carnival 2011, an annual week-long celebration of the GLBT community that has become one of the most buzzed about events on gay social calendars around the globe. This year, the event’s theme is “Can’t Stop the Music” and attendees are encouraged to dress up in any way that celebrates the theme, which leaves lots of room for both interpretation and imagination.
